Offering Sailing Education And Cruises Since 2015
Welcome aboard! Swiss Adventures was established 2015 placing Heinz's day sail and education for children program under this new company name.
Swiss Adventures continues to offer day sails on San Francisco Bay and sailing adventures in other places around the globe.
We love sailing and want to bring our adventures to everyone who wants to join. Our fees help offset boat costs. The skipper will not earn any money from these trips. At the end of the season will donate leftover proceeds to a local youth sailing program.
In 2019 we expanded our offering by adding extended stay in our Hawaii condo.
For our big adventure in 2022, we sailed to Hawaii and to Alaska. In 2023 we spent 6 month in Alaska., where we sailed the Gulf of Alaska, cruised along the Alaskan Peninsula. in the Kodiak Archipelago, and the Prince William Sound, before we headed South to South East Alaska and Canada and back to San Francisco.
In 2024 we are back offering cruises in the SF Bay before we sailing back to Hawaii in July. Our journey will continue taking us South, eventually around Cape Horn.

Heinz is the founder, owner and captain here at Swiss Adventures. Born in Switzerland he moved to the United States in 1996 to pursue his dream job in high tech. After a long career he is fulfilling his new dream to pass his passion of sailing and adventure to other people.

Heinz has been sailing for over 35 years and has experienced the Atlantic, Pacific, North Sea, Baltic Sea as well as the Mediterranean Sea. Heinz holds an USCG 50t near coastal Master's license. He is also an US Sailing small keelboat instructor and holds a Swiss offshore yacht master license.

Andrea has over 30 years of sailing experience in Europe and North America. She holds a USCG 100t Master’s License and is a certified ASA Sailing Instructor.
Andrea is passionate about sharing her love for sailing and the ocean. Her mission is to inspire, impact, and empower others especially women to gain confidence and taking on the helm

Andrea is happiest when she can spend her days on the water. It makes her heart sing being out on the ocean cruising.
Originally from Switzerland she calls San Francisco her home since 1996.
